About this property

Welcome to Havasupai Lodge

Havasupai Lodge is a straightforward, no-frills accommodation situated deep within the Grand Canyon along the Havasu Falls Trail in Supai, Arizona. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms, including amenities like a mini fridge and microwave, providing simple comforts after long hikes. The lodge operates a smoke-free policy and provides free Wi-Fi and parking, but lacks facilities such as a pool, fitness center, airport shuttle, or pet-friendly options.

The setting is particularly appealing to visitors focused on sightseeing and outdoor recreation, especially those exploring nearby natural highlights such as Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, and Fifty Foot Falls. These stunning waterfalls and the surrounding wilderness make the lodge a practical base for hikers and nature enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in the area’s unique landscape.

Guest feedback highlights clean and reasonably comfortable rooms with reliable air conditioning and hot showers—valued after strenuous days on the trail. A modest selection of breakfast items and hot beverages is available, although some visitors bring their own provisions due to the lodge opening hours. While staff service has received mixed remarks, the overall atmosphere is quiet and suited for restful stays in a remote location.

The lodge’s check-in is from 2 p.m., with check-out by 11 a.m. Its remote position means access can be challenging, often requiring advanced planning and permits. This lodge is best suited for travelers seeking functional accommodations close to iconic canyon landmarks rather than luxury or extensive amenities.

Had a great experience! The hike was strenuous and tough to reach the lodge in the summer heat, but experiencing the nature and waterfalls was worth everything! Stayed at the lodge for 3 days, had a permit/reservation beforehand, etc. Beautiful views outside. And a lifetime experience without a doubt! Will never forget this experience!

The rooms are clean, the a/c works well, the water is hot the people are great. My gf and I brought our own coffee and a hot pot to heat the water but, it wasn’t necessary. Coffee and a few basic breakfast items like pop tarts and oatmeal was available in the office which opens at 7:30.

Right now, the helicopter has shut down for the evening for repairs. We are stuck here one more night. The lodge gave our room back, because of the helicopter problem. I am happy with their service. I enjoyed the Peach festival and the people were friendly and nice. Hopefully the helicopter can get fixed and get us up to the top. Thx T.W.W. from Oklahoma.

The room was nice for 4 people. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower was warm. Definitely appreciated having a warm room and shower after a day of hiking in the beautiful area.

Clean room, comfortable beds, free basic breakfast and hot drinks. Good service. Hot showers were a blessing after long hikes and chilly evenings.

As many have stated, the rooms have been completely renovated during COVID. Very nice with two comfortable beds, new floors, a small refrigerator, and nice bathroom. We did not have hot water the first two nights which made for cold showers, but had it the third night. Not sure why and no communications from staff. Staff is not the most welcoming or friendly, but not a big deal. Very quiet too so will sleep well. Only thing missing is something to make hot water in the rooms. The lodge does not open until 8am and we left for our hikes each day before then. So no hot water for coffee, tea, or the dehydrated breakfast meals. The lodge does have some food open to guests. Some is provided by the lodge, some left by guests. Of course the location is incredible.

Was surprised to see the huge room (a lot bigger than many hotels) with AC, mini fridge w/ freezer box, microwave, towels and shower gel, shampoo and lotion. The lobby even offered basic breakfast items with tea and coffee. The nearby café was not always open, bought frozen items from the store to make up for the meals.
